This page is to give our listeners an opportunity to read about "The Substance of Service Show's" experience while out and about in the real world outside the studio. So tune in as we leave remarks, advice to where not to visit, and of course what we would consider a great experience.
Clark Animal Hospital
While Thumper has been a part of the Calderon family for only 5 long glorious years, our love, loyalty, and committment to her goes beyond any limit possible. Today (1/26/15) we had to make a different choice in her medical care and that was choosing a different hospital. She had an abscess on her left side and the desire of wanting to travel to Washington Long Island to North Shore Animal League was almost impossible due to the weather inclimate so we went with a different hospital and that hospital was Clark Animal Hospital in Rahway New Jersey. While our first impression of this Hospital was rather an uncomforting feeling, within minutes the staff and the attending physician (whom was the director/cheif surgeon) changed that around fast. The doctor went out on the limb to make me and my Thumper comfortable and feel at home. While attending to Thumper with compassion and ease, he also made me feel as if I was a part of his own family. He informed me of all the medical necessities as well as possibilities for her care. He gave us a tour of the facility to show just how Thumper is treated and made sure all my questions/concerns were taking care before leaving us to head home. Most importantly, his staff kept us feeling comfortable while waiting on Thumper.
By all means, this is the place to visit with your animal and I must add prices may not be too low or within a budget, but this location works on making it possible to care for your pet.
Very animal friendly, family orintated, and very clean. 5 Stars.
