FUTURE/PAST GUESTS ON THE SHOW

In the past year The Substance of Service Show has had the opportunity to interview some of the greatest people around. These are the people who help make a difference in our everyday lives.

David "Young Flip" Rodriguez

David "Young Flip" Rodriguez was on the show to speak on Anti-Bullying and how Free-Style Running has always been a positive reenforcement to self esteem. While attending a free-style running school, David "Young Flip" Rodriguez has had the opportunity to work along side many youths and had even a greater opportunity to see them meet their challeges while avoiding the pressures of bullying. It was a great pleasure to have him on the show and even a greater pleasure getting to know him.

Organization
Team

We had the opportunity to interview one of the Co-Founders, Andy Rivera, and two of his staff while learning so much about para-normal activities. While some us in the studio were true non-believers of the other side, we sure left that day believing that there are some unknown things out there.

Rhonda "The Medium/Psyc" Berry

Rhonda "The Medium/Psyc" Berry enjoyed being on our show so much she came back a second time. While on our show, she spoke on what it was like being a medium/psycic and how was able to realize her path in helping people. During her 20 years as a psycic, Rhonda "The Medium/Psyc" Berry has gotten the chance to work with numberous paranormal organizations including the NJPRO Team. She has currently started her own website and is looking to begin her own medium/Psycic business. We here at the Substance of Service Show is looking forward to working with her in the future on some new and exciting ideas.

Peter Santiago

During our Anti-Bullying segment, Peter Santiago came on the show to speak about hoe his (back then) high school, Saint Benadicts handled bullying. As he was on the show we learned they had a serious leadership program that lead children into a path of being leaders and not victims of Bullying. While at St. Benadicts, Peter Santiago was a team leader and was able to guide his peers to a better day. Peter Santiago is currently attending St. Vincent's College in Pennslyvania.

RICKY JARMAN

With a world of talent and big dreams, belongs to a new breed of artists who know no creative boundaries. Within his contagious array of unique ability, Jarman has managed to boldly rattle ground throughout the south-eastern United States.

Jarman first broke out in the entertainment industry (in 2006) when he was being sought after both by Lou Pearlman of Transcontinental Records (responsible for signing N’sync, Backstreet boys, and Britney Spears) and Christian Dio of Caliber Records (who has done remixes Michael Jackson and Mary J. Blige) for a spot in the mix of their projects they were both working on separately. After much prayer he
decided to work with Dio of Caliber Records in a boy band called UNITED. Through that time he was able to meet and work with people such as Andrea Martin (song writer/voice coach who has worked with Whitney Houston and Mariah Cary) and Glenn Douglas Packard (one of Britney Spear’s choreographers). Even though the boy band project folded due to some personal choices of some of the band members, his career continued to rise, with breakthrough performances that have broke down barriers for small-town boys everywhere.

Jarman IS the full package; with song writing abilities, vocal range, hip hop dance moves, and stage presence that is sure to be an eye catcher. He continues to accomplish what the entertainment industry throws at him. He has successfully pushed his dent into the entertainment industry, inspiring noise on many levels. Recently in 2012, Ricky had the honors of opening up for, Grammy nominee, J. Cole on his college wide tour AND is getting Radio Buzz in the southeast. In 2012 he appeared as a R&B nominee in the 2012 Carolina Music Awards. In early 2013 he released his first official single, “Do It” on Itunes, which aired on Bob 93.3 (Top 40 Radio) and 100.7 The MIX (Top 40). Since that moment his music has had a snow ball effect. The music video for “Do It”, along with “Mi Amore” and “Make It Happen” were shot by Devin Johnson, and is currently available on many platforms including Vevo and mtv.com.  (Devin’s credits include the “Bands A Make Her Dance” music video by Juicy J, BET interviews, Mc Donald’s commercials, and “Ali Bomaye” by The Game).  Most recently Ricky’s “Make It Happen” music video appeared on MTV-U; and he also was able to grace the stage and perform in the 2014 Canadian Music Festival in Toronto.

David Linton, former Senior Vice President of R&B Promotions/Marketing at Capitol Records, says, " Ricky Jarman, if you don’t know the name you will. This young man from North Carolina has been paying his dues and putting down some smooth sounds. His tenacity and penchant for success will pay off. His work ethic reminds me of a young artists I worked with during my days as VP R&B Promotions at Clive Davis’ Capitol Records, that artists name is Usher. Just as young Usher, Ricky works hard to perfect his craft and just like Usher when his moment comes he’ll be ready.” Whatever it is required, Ricky Jarman creates it & makes things happen, giving proof to the dream that living what you love can become a reality.
